Women’s Ministry

Women’s ministry consists of a variety of opportunities for women to gather together. We welcome all women to any of the gatherings regardless of the intended audience or topic. Currently the Women’s ministry is headed up by lay leaders Liz Kirkpatrick, Bianca Jimenez, Shawn Greves, and Virginia Estes. If you are interested in becoming involved in the Women’s ministry leadership, please reach out to any of these women.

Galentine’s Craft Night: Thursday January 22 6:00 – 8:30 pm at Shawn Greves. Gather with other women (youth are welcome as well) to make a beaded felt heart (and maybe another craft too). We ask that each participant bring $5 to cover the cost of supplies. Please register so we know how many supplies to purchase.

Mom’s Retreat: February 20-21 in Blue Ridge GA: If you are a mom, in any stage of life - an empty nesting grandmother, new mom, pregnant with your first, in the throes of toddlers and teens, or a spiritual mom - you are invited to attend a weekend full of authentic presence, encouragement and hope. We are a collection of moms from all walks of life. Anglican, Baptist, Non-Denom, Orthodox, Presbyterian, Church Refugee...all of us longing to raise children who love God and love people. Cost for ticket includes dessert Friday night, and breakfast lunch on Saturday. Registration deadline is February 10. This retreat is being organized in part by our own Ami Burr who can answer any questions you have.
